Water supply in Port Hedland is starting to be restored following a temporary supply outage earlier this morning (Friday, 12 January).

Customers may experience low pressure and ‘white water’ (trapped air which gives water a white or milky appearance) while the full supply is restored.

Any issues with the restoration of water supply can be reported to Water Corporation on 13 13 75 (24/7 emergency line).

Customers in Port Hedland are experiencing a temporary water outage following a leak on a water main that supplies the town’s high-level storage tank. Water Corporation crews are on site with some supply expected to be restored by 7am latest this morning (Friday, 12 January).

Following repairs, customers may experience low pressure and ‘white water’ (trapped air which gives water a white or milky appearance) while the full supply is restored.

Water supply to residents in South Hedland, Wedgefield and surrounding areas is unaffected.

Water Corporation would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused during these emergency repairs.
